The Growth Group Systems is not a programme; it is a movement
Today, the evidence speaks louder than words.
In barely 22 months we have grown from zero to over 90 Growth Groups. We have held over 2,200 documented meetings. We have recorded 5,281 meeting attendances. And celebrated 641 MVPs.
These are not ordinary statistics. These are 5,281 opportunities for discipleship. They represent thousands of conversations, weekly prayers, scriptures and pages of books studied, and lives strengthened.
A church grows not merely because people attend Sunday services. A church grows because people build relationships during the week. People stay where they are known. People grow where they are discipled. People serve where they are appreciated. That is the power of the Growth Group Systems.
The greatest evangelism strategy is relationship
Jesus preached to multitudes. But He transformed the world through twelve committed disciples.
Christian history has proven repeatedly that small groups are the engine room of church growth.
Because people are far more likely to respond to the Gospel when it is shared by someone they know than by someone standing behind a pulpit.
Growth Groups make evangelism personal. They make discipleship practical. They make Christianity visible. Every meeting becomes another opportunity to introduce someone to Jesus. Every friendship becomes another avenue for salvation. Every profession becomes another mission field.
No wonder the Growth Group System intentionally groups doctors, lawyers, engineers, bankers, entrepreneurs, politicians, entertainers and many more — so believers can influence every mountain of society while supporting one another professionally.
Where else can you find professional support like this?
Imagine being a young graduate. You need career advice. Imagine being an entrepreneur. You need investors. Imagine being a lawyer. You need referrals. Imagine being a medical doctor. You need collaborators.
Growth Groups create Kingdom networks.
Instead of competing with one another, believers begin to complete one another. Instead of walking alone, they journey together. Instead of merely exchanging greetings every Sunday, they become destiny partners.
The church becomes more than a worship centre. It becomes a family.
The Growth Group Systems is also a university without walls
One of the greatest crises facing Nigeria is not merely poverty. It is poverty of knowledge. Knowledge changes economies. Knowledge transforms families. Knowledge produces innovation.
That is why reading forms a core culture of the Growth Group Systems. Since inception, over 200 books have been read, involving readers across over six states.
This is nothing short of a literacy revolution. Imagine hundreds of believers reading the same transformational book, discussing it chapter by chapter, applying its principles and teaching others.
That is how civilizations are built. That is how ignorance is defeated. That is how leaders emerge.
Our social impact projects are the Gospel in action
Jesus did not only preach. He healed. He fed. He comforted. He restored dignity. The Growth Group Systems follows that same model.
To date, more than 80 independent Social Impact Projects have been executed.
Every project declares one powerful truth: the Church exists not only inside its walls but also in the community.
When we visit correctional centres, we are saying no life is beyond redemption. When we reach boys on the streets, we intercept futures before crime recruits them. When we organize technology conferences, we prove Christianity is relevant to innovation. When we support schools, we are investing in tomorrow's leaders. This is practical Christianity!
- Prison outreaches
- Hospital intervention projects
- Medical outreaches
- Motherless babies' homes visitations
- Church renovation projects
- School support initiatives
- Distribution of sanitary pads
- Back-to-school interventions
- Love crusades
- Market evangelism
- Tech conferences
- Community advocacies
Fun Week is evangelism without the pulpit
People often assume Christianity is boring. Fun Week destroys that misconception.
It has become arguably one of the largest Christian fun events in Calabar, with the vision of becoming the largest in Nigeria and expanding across the federation.
Because many unbelievers may never attend a crusade — but they will attend a football match, a picnic, a concert, a games night, or a social gathering.
Fun Week creates a relaxed environment where friendships flourish, barriers disappear and people encounter Christians who genuinely enjoy life while honouring God. It demonstrates that holiness is not sadness. Joy is a Kingdom culture. Every Fun Week becomes another evangelistic harvest field.
Our future is even more exciting
One of our boldest visions is the Adopt-A-School Challenge. Our dream is simple: reach every secondary school in Calabar. Equip students with values. Provide mentorship. Promote literacy. Encourage excellence. Share the Gospel.
According to available education statistics from the Cross River State education sector, Calabar is home to tens of thousands of secondary school students across public and private institutions. This represents one of the largest concentrations of young people in the state.
Because every teenager is already being discipled by someone. If not the Church — social media will. Peer pressure will. Drug culture will. Internet influencers will. Crime syndicates will.
The question is never whether young people will be influenced. The only question is who will influence them first?
The Growth Group Systems has chosen to answer that question with action rather than complaints. The classroom is the mission field of the next generation. If we catch them young — we save families, we reduce crime, we raise leaders, we build the Church of tomorrow.
This is the future of the local church
The Growth Group Systems reduces the distance between pastors and members. It strengthens the G-12 structure. It fosters unity. It creates accountability. It retains converts from outreaches. It develops leaders. It mobilizes professionals. It transforms communities. It raises missionaries. It strengthens prayer. It promotes literacy. It rewards excellence. It builds lasting friendships. Above all, it glorifies Christ.
